Guy-Am-I (also known as "Grouchy Guy" or "Sam's Friend") is a grumpy and stubborn Zookian Knox who hated green eggs and ham until he eventually tried them at the end and also serves as the co-protagonist. He was unnamed in the original book, but is later referred as "Guy-Am-I" in the Netflix series. Some sources give his name as "Joey". He was voiced by Spoon Man.
In the end of the story, Guy tries the dish (green eggs and ham). And he does find out that he likes the dish. Then he tells Sam that he is going to eat the dish in the places that Sam-I-Am just asked about. On Page 19 (final page), he eats the entire dish. And he says to Sam, "I do so like green eggs and ham. Thank you. Thank you, Sam-I-Am". On the next page (when it is clicked on), Guy thanks Sam for letting him try something new. And he decides that for in return, he should make something for Sam. Guy makes blue roast turkey and rye for Sam to try. Sam says, "Something blue. Something blue! That is something new!". Finally, Guy gives Sam a taste of the blue turkey. And he says, "Try it. You'll like it. I have made it for you".
