In "Arthur's Teacher Trouble", Mr. Ratburn gives Arthur and his friends homework. He later has the class compete in the spelling bee contest, in which Brain and Arthur compete and Arthur wins. He later announces that he will be teaching kindergarten which D.W. is upset about.

Trivia[]
- In the 2019 Arthur TV episode "Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone" Mr. Ratburn is revealed to be gay and gets married to a man named Patrick. This controversial episode was banned in Alabama USA on PBS Kids due to the LGBT themes.
- At the time of the release of Arthur's Teacher Trouble released on Living Books PC back in 1992. Mr. Ratburn in this game has not come out of the closet yet, who would later date a man named Patrick and get married to him.
- The player can click on Mr. Ratburn's clothes and he is shown as a crossdresser wearing a Scottish Kilt.
- This is the only game Mr. Ratburn makes an appearance in the Living Book games, he does not appear in Arthur's Birthday.
