The Fish (whose name is Carlos K. Krinklebine in the 1971 Cat in the Hat TV special) is a character from The Cat in the Hat. He is a pet fish of Sally and her brother Conrad. The Fish is skeptical about the Cat in the Hat being around the house while the children's mother is out, especially when he wrecks the house. It's presumed that the Cat is a stranger who trespasses into the house, not to mention the Cat's idea of fun involves wrecking the house.
